About the fullscreen slideshow
Fullscreen homepage slideshow images are added using custom post type called Slides. They are like posts. Click on add new slide and enter a name for the slide and add the image as thefeatured image. Add it to a category as you wish.
How to get the slideshow on homepage?
The theme offers a custom homepage template. You have to use the static front page featureunder the Settings > Reading option. You can select a page for the homepage. Make sure that page uses the homepage custom template.
